摘要：社会主义和谐社会的构建需要更多德才兼备、全面发展的建设者。高校培养的大学生既是实施和谐社会建设的主力军，更是推进和谐社会建设的科技创新的中坚力量。贫困大学生作为大学生的一部分，他们的成才为祖国的建设从人力资源方面提供有力的保障。和谐社会要求社会各部门、各群体以具体行动来构建一个和谐的局面；要求高等教育大众化背景下比例和人数庞大的贫困生群体和谐发展，这就为我们提供了研究这一领域的契机。因此，在新时期构建贫困大学生社会支持网络是当前高校工作者的必然选择。 本课题的研究立足于高校大众化发展的新时期，以构建和谐社会大环境为切入点，希望通过对贫困大学生社会支持网络的研究，寻求契合新时期解决贫困大学生完成学业的新的社会支持系统，以此来改革现有的资助模式，力图提出有益的主张。 全文共分为六个部分：第一部分，概述了研究背景、研究状况以及研究意义，在此基础上提出了当前高校面临的一大难题——贫困生问题；第二部分，阐述了西部贫困大学生形成的原因、面临的主要问题等基本情况；第三部分，详细阐述将贫困大学生社会支持网络纳入和谐社会的理论依据，为全文的构成提供保障作用；第四部分，分析构建贫困大学生社会支持网络的必要性，提出网络构建原则；第五部分，构建全方位、多层次贫困大学生社会支持网络；第六部分，作为结束语对本课题做一个研究展望。本文的创新点在于：（1）确立新时期建设和谐社会与贫困大学生社会支持网络的结合机制，构建以政府支持为主导、高校支持为主体、其他群体支持系统为辅助、个人支持系统为补充的西部贫困大学生社会支持网络。（2）本文在研究贫困大学生社会支持网络的过程中，实证引用了西部贫困家庭在接受高等教育过程中建立的一种尝试模式：家族助学基金。这一创新举措是在市场经济条件下贫困家庭学生自立求学的理性选择，促进了农村居民素质的现代化。

ABSTRACT：Construction of a socialist harmonious society needs more ability and integrity and all-round development of the builders. Training College harmonious talents as socialist qualified builders and successors, is the main force in the building of a harmonious society, but also promote the building of a harmonious society and the backbone of scientific and technological innovation. So poor college students become to the motherland's construction from human resources to provide effective protection. Harmonious society requires all sectors of society, groups of specific actions to build a harmonious situation ,demands huge number of poor students in the harmonious development of popularization of higher education background. which has provided us with an opportunity to study in this field. building a poor college students’ social support network is the inevitable choice to college workers in the new era. a harmonious society is the value target of the network construction. The research entry by building a harmonious social background, projects in popularization of higher education, through the study of poverty-stricken college students hope that build a network of social support to fit college students to complete their studies. addressing poverty of the new social support systems, for the new era in order to reform the existing funding mode, trying to come up with useful ideas, to engage in higher education studies for educators, managers, academics and socialists. This paper is divided into six parts: The first part, outlined the background to study the situation and the significance.raised the major challenge. The second part, on the causes and the main problems of poor college students from western. The third part, as the protection role in the full text that put the Poor College Students social support network into the harmonious society and detailed theoretical basis. The fourth part, analysis the needs of construction that the poor college students’ social support network and raised the principles. The fifth part, built an all-dimensional, multi-level poor college students social support network. The sixth part, outlook of the research. In this paper, the innovation lies in: (1)Established a united mechanisms of harmonious society and social support network of poor college students. Constructed a social support network of the western Poor College Students that government support for the dominant,university support for the main, other groups support system for assistance, personal support system to complement, the self-centered help for nature.(2)In the research, positive cited the Family Education Fund which is a pattern that the western poverty-stricken families established in high educational process. This is a rational choice which promote the quality of the modernization of rural residents.
