矩阵变换器是一种新型的交流电力变换装置,它主要由双向开关器件组成,按照一定的拓扑结构,相比普通电力变换器具有高效率、高功率密度和高可靠性等特点。矩阵变换器可产生正弦输入电流和正弦输出电流,并可自由调节输入功率因数和输出频率,实现能量的双向流动。矩阵变换器大大降低了功率变换器的无功功率和谐波污染,是一种新型电力转换装置。本文重点分析并研究了矩阵变换器的特点和及关键技术,例如调制解调算法,变换器换相策略以及滤波器的设计等。
本文首先分析了其拓扑结构及对应于任意调制算法均成立的、基于开关函数的数学模型,并分析了几种可行的双向开关结构。然后,主要分析了矩阵式变换器的空间矢量调制策略,数学推导和变换得到低频传递函数矩阵,引入了虚拟直流环节,把矩阵式变换器等效为交直交拓扑结构。进而,对其等效逆变环节和等效整流环节分别进行空间矢量调制,以此为基础消去中间直流环节,得到整合后的矩阵式变换器的空间矢量调制策略及其开关组合,并且,使用典型的双边调制开关模式对开关次数进行优化,得到了换流次数最少的36种扇区组合的开关状态。然后,在空间矢量调制算法下,分析了基于输出电流方向检测的四步换流策略和基于换流电压检测的四步换流策略。
在本文中,使用MATLAB软件来模拟矩阵式变换器。仿真模型由主电路模块和控制电路模块组成。在没有输入滤波器情况下,设置两组参数值,分析本调制策略中矩阵式变换器的输入输出性能; 接着,对输入LC滤波器进行了设计和仿真,得到了THD值仅为2.63%的输入电流波形,从而验证了本算法的正确性和有效性。

The matrix converter composed of bidirectional switches is a novel AC/AC power converter with a new topology, and it has the advantages of high efficiency, high power density, and high reliability. It can provide sinusoidal output and input current. The input power factor and output frequency can be regulated freely and the energy can flow on bi-direction. The matrix converter is a “green” power converter because it greatly reduces the harmonic and reactive pollution for the power grid, and it has a good prospect. This paper focus on modulation algorithm, commutation strategy, input filter design and other key technologies of the matrix converter.
Firstly, its topology and a proper mathematical model of the switching function for any modulation algorithm is analyzed, and several feasible topologies of bidirectional switches are presented and studied. Then, it is the space vector modulation (SVM) that is specially analyzed. Accompanied by the introduction of the virtual DC link, the matrix of low-frequency transfer function can be divided into two through mathematical derivation and transform. By given the equivalent AC/DC/AC topology of matrix converter, SVM is used on the part of equivalent virtual source inverter (VSI) and virtual source rectifier (VSR). On the base of this, the indirect space vector modulation and switching state combinations are obtained. By using typical bilateral modulation switch-mode, switching times are optimized and the switching state combinations of the thirty-six sectors with minimize commutation times are obtained. Then, under the SVM algorithm, a four-step commutation strategy based on output current direction detection and a four-step commutation strategy based on voltage detection are given.
This paper simulates the introduced modulation and commutation strategies, and establishes the MATLAB simulation model, which is composed of the main circuit module and the control circuit module. The input and output performances under the introduced modulation strategy are analyzed without the input filter. Then, this paper designs and simulates the input LC filter. It has been found that the THD of input current is merely 2.63%. The result certificates that the introduced modulation and commutation strategies are correct and feasible.
