        近年来,智能化发展已成为行业共识,我国煤矿智能化建设已处于由示范建设转向规模推广的重要阶段。在此背景下,相关文献的英译需求日益增长,重要性也愈发凸显,成为推动我国煤矿智能化技术走向国际舞台的重要桥梁。

       本次翻译实践选取采矿类文本《智能采矿导论》作为源文本,借助Trados、知云文献翻译辅助翻译软件,进行汉英翻译。源文本属于信息文本,含有大量科技术语、长难句,译文要求能准确客观地向目标读者传递文本信息。鉴于此,报告以尤金·奈达(Eugene Nida)的功能对等理论,结合信息文本的语言特征,通过列举丰富案例,从词汇、句法以及语篇三个方面分析智能采矿文本的翻译方法及技巧。其中词汇对等层面,着重探讨文化负载词和专业术语的翻译策略;句法对等层面包括无主句和长难句的翻译,分别通过添加“it”形式主语、译为被动语态和“there be”句型,以实现句法对等;语篇层面则通过省略冗余信息和增加逻辑连词两种衔接手段,以及一致性和结构调整两个连贯方法最终实现语篇对等。

       在功能对等理论的指导下,运用实例对智能采矿译本进行分析研究,旨在为采矿领域的跨语言研究提供兼具学术价值与实践指导意义的解决方案,推动我国矿业智能化发展的国际话语权构建。

          In recent years, intelligent development has emerged as an industry - wide consensus, with China's coal mine intelligentization drive entering a pivotal phase of shifting from demonstration projects to large - scale deployment. Against this contextual backdrop, the demand for English translation of related scholarly and technical literature has grown exponentially, assuming a critical role as a vital bridge for introducing China’s coal mine intelligentization technologies to the global stage.

          This translation practice utilizes the mining - specific text Introduction to Intelligent Mining as the source material, employing computer - assisted translation tools such as Trados and Zhiyun Document Translation for Chinese - English translation. Characterized as an informative text, the source material incorporates extensive technical terminology and complex sentence structures, necessitating that the target text deliver information to readers with precision and objectivity. Guided by Eugene Nida’s Functional Equivalence Theory and integrated with the linguistic features of informative discourse, this report examines translation methodologies and techniques for intelligent mining texts through rich case analyses across three dimensions: lexical, syntactic, and textual. At the lexical equivalence level, the focus is on translation strategies for culture - loaded words and specialized vocabularies; at the syntactic equivalence level, the study addresses the translation of subject - less sentences and complex clauses by means of adding the subject “it” employing passive voice constructions, and applying the “there be” pattern to achieve syntactic alignment. At the textual level, coherence is established through cohesive devices - such as omitting redundant information and introducing logical conjunctions - and through structural coherence methods, including maintaining consistency and adjusting text organization, thereby realizing textual equivalence.

         Guided by the Functional Equivalence Theory, this report analyzes intelligent mining translations through practical examples, aiming to provide solutions with both academic value and practical guidance for cross - linguistic research in the mining field, and to promote the construction of international discourse power for the intelligent development of China’s mining industry.
