随着我国改革开放的不断深入和社会主义市场经济的快速发展，人们的道德观念和行为方式都发生了深刻的变化，这也给高校德育工作带来了许多困难，如何加强和改进高校德育工作，提高高校德育工作的实效性，是一个值得研究的课题。十六大指出：“面对世界范围内各种思想文化的相互激荡，必须把弘扬和培育民族精神作为文化建设的及其重要的任务，纳入国民教育全过程”，所以高校开展和培育民族精神教育是当前和今后一个时期内，学生思想道德建设和德育工作的一项重大而又紧迫的任务。具体来说，我们在高校德育工作中，必须尊重自己的历史和文化传统，把高校德育工作植根于源远流长的中华民族文化之中，大力弘扬中华人文精神，通过继承和发扬中华民族优秀的德育思想，培养大学生的爱国意识和民族精神，培养大学生的道德感和责任感，从而推动高校德育工作的有序进行，并进一步增强德育工作的实际效果。 本文围绕增强高校德育实效性这一目标，通过对高校德育对象的确定，高校德育目标的分析，指出在具体的高校德育工作中，应坚持以人为本的教育理念，根据大学生的成长特点，以学生为主体，以把学生培养为“四有”新人为目标，充分尊重学生的主体地位，唤起学生的德育意识。高校德育工作应在充分利用传统文化中的德育资源的基础上，对学生进行爱国主义教育、集体主义教育、道德品质教育。并通过这些教育，使大学生具有关注他人、关注社会、关注国家的责任心；使得他们具有自尊、自爱、自强的人格；使得他们有与人和谐相处的能力；使得他们有报效祖国和社会的使命感；使得他们在未来的发展中能更好的做人、做学问。

Saying in detail, we must respect ourselves′ history and culture tradition in college moral education work, and rooted the moral education work in the extensive and profound and with a long history Chinese civilization, carry forward the humanism of China. Through inheriting and carrying forward the fine moral idea of the Chinese nation, train the college students′ sense of patriotism and national spirit, train the college students′ sense of moral and responsibility. We can make the college moral education work carry out in order and further strengthen the efficiency of the college moral education work. This topic center on the objective of how to strengthen the efficiency of the college moral education and determine the object of college moral education. Through analyzing the objective of college moral education, it indicates that we should stick to the sense of education which make people the root. According to the characteristic of the college students growing, we should make students play a dominate role, cultivate them in order that they become the “Four Haves” talents. We should fully respect the students′ dominate role, rouse their sense of moral education. College moral education work should fully use the resource of moral education in traditional culture of China, carrying out patriotism education, collectivism education and moral quality education to students. Through these education, we wish college students possess a responsibility of paying attention to others, society and nation. We wish they have a personality of respecting themselves, love themselves, strengthening themselves, and wish they have an ability to get along with others harmoniously. We wish they have a mission sense of serving nation and society and wish they could conduct themselves and learn better in the future.
