随着全球化程度的加深，世界各地的交流愈发密切，随之而来的语言服务需求也在不断浪涌。面对激增的翻译需求，翻译行业自身必须以专业化的方式完成翻译任务，而项目管理正是提高翻译质量和效率的常用方法。目前，多数翻译硕士教育都引入了项目管理的相关教学，但总体来看仍有很大提升空间。高校教学如果忽视这一部分的教育，不利于推动市场人才的养成。因此，翻译项目管理的研究极具必要性。

同时，随着国际贸易往来与文化交流的日益频繁，中国矿业也逐步向全球化、国际化方向发展，地质资源的保护与利用显得尤为重要。本报告以《中国大百科全书第三版·矿冶工程》翻译项目为例，系统介绍了翻译项目管理的流程与方法，并对此次校企合作项目管理进行了系统的评估、总结。报告通过整合前人的国内外研究，对翻译项目管理概念和方法产生基本的认识。其次，通过本次项目中的实际案例，具体分析如何通过项目管理的方法来解决翻译项目中出现的问题。最后总体评估团队各个阶段的工作情况,在实践中不断优化总结工作方法。该项目的成功实践表明，翻译项目管理可以使任务目标更明确、资源更集中、责任更具体，实现翻译进度、质量和成本的最佳平衡。将项目管理引入该校企合作项目有利于进一步丰富高校翻译硕士的实践经验，为今后高校翻译硕士教育提供参考。

With the deepening of globalization, the communication around the world is getting ever closer with the demand for language services growing. Facing the surging translation demands, the translation industry must evolve in a more professional way, and the project management has been regarded as a proactive element to improve the efficiency of translation deliveries. Currently, MTI education in many universities has adopted a teaching method that combines project management with translation practice, but there is still room for improvement. Therefore, the study of translation project management is extremely necessary.

China’s mining industry, as the global trade and cultural exchanges are developing rapidly, is more engaged in international society with the protection and utilization of mining resources being critical. Taking the translation project of Mining and Metallurgy of Encyclopedia of China as an example, this report systematically describes the translation project management process for mining and metallurgy text in details, concerning the processes of a thorough assessment, summary, and improvement. In light of the previous studies from home and abroad, a basic understanding of translation project management was formed. Then the problems and solutions were analyzed through the specific case study. Finally, a quantitative analysis was made to assess the translation work in all stages to improve the working methods in practice. This report, based on the project, reveals that the translation project management could help the members to share more precise goals, more reasonable resources, and more specific responsibilities, thus achieving a balance of progress, quality, and costs. It turns out that the application of project management in university-enterprise cooperation can enrich the practice of MTI students and provide references for the university education.
