近年来，随着政治、经济发展与生态环境恶化的矛盾日益突出，以胡锦涛同志为核 心的新一代领导集体提出了科学发展观的新思路，其中一个重要内容，就是要“统筹人 与自然和谐发展”，“树立全面、协调、可持续的发展观”，实现建立和谐社会的伟大目 标。这就把生态环境问题提高到了一个关系党的大政方针，事关国家政治稳定、经济发 展的新高度。 从古至今，无数的专家学者都提出了保护环境的生态哲学思想，从公元前500年孔 子的儒家生态伦理思想到19世纪40年代的马克思恩格斯生态哲学，无不在告诫人们保 护生态的责任和重要性。那么如何将生态伦理思想和生态道德意识带入到我们的高等学 校教育之中来，开展一种全新的德育观教育，这正是本文的研究目的。 生态道德教育是一种新德育观。生态道德教育既不是生态伦理学，也不是生态道德， 而是一种生态教育活动，一种新德育观。它是指教育者从人与自然相互依存、和睦相处 和互惠共生的生态观出发，启发、引导受教育者为了人类的长远利益和更好地享用自然、 享用生活，自觉养成关心爱护自然环境和生态系统的生态保护意识、思想觉悟和相应的 道德文明行为习惯。 高校生态道德教育是培养大学生自觉维系自然界生态平衡、环境保护和不可再生资 源可持续利用的道德理念的一种新型的道德活动，它的实施对于加强广大青年学生的环 保意识、资源意识和生态意识具有积极意义．本文通过系统阐述高校生态道德教育的目 标、原则、内容、途径等方面进行了高校生态道德教育新模式的研究．在实施素质教育 的今天，我们应重构高等学校学校培养目标，把培养地球公民即“理性生态人”纳入人才 培养之中，把高校生态道德教育放到重要位置。
