地理实体的空间分布是不均匀的,所以地理信息表达与可视化必然涉及多分辨率。一个应用系统只要对其研究区域内不同地区地理信息的空间分辨率要求不同,就必然需要构建多分辨率数字地图。在深入分析和研究数字地图、电子地图的概念和特点以及比例尺和分辨率的概念基础上,探讨了构建多分辨率数字、电子地图的具体编制方法及技术。①在论述了普通电子地图显示方法的基础上,探讨了多分辨率电子地图的显示技术,主要是分层和分级显示的技术,以及多分辨率电子地图的符号设计。多分辨率电子地图的符号设计主要是通过符号图案、尺寸和色彩的统一设计,将不同分辨率的制图区域融为一体,同时又能满足多分辨率电子地图显示的要求。②对多分辨率数字地图的编制流程和原理进行了详细地论述。在分析了制图资料的基础上,提出了编制多分辨率电子地图的主要问题,重点研究了不同制图区域的划分问题和地图符号系统的统一问题。③对多分辨率数字地图的编制方法进行了详细地说明。在不同分辨率的电子地图进行拼接的时候,一定会遇到横跨两个不同制图区域的线状实体的拼接问题。因此本文对横跨两个不同制图区域的线状实体(铁路、公路、内部道路、乡村路、小路、管线、沟渠、水库、独立地物)的表达问题进行了深入地探讨,并对多分辨率电子地图中的地物符号进行了设计实验。

It is necessary that the geographical information in the world is represented and visualized by the way of multi-resolutions, because the distributions of geographical entities in the world are non-uniform. An application of the research system within the region as long as the different parts of the geographic information requirements of different spatial resolution, it will inevitably need to build multi-resolution digital map. In going deep into analyzing and researching the concepts and features, such as digital maps, electronic maps, scales, resolution, etc, in this thesis the concept of the multi-resolution digital maps is put forward, and furthermore, the specific methodology and the techniques to construct the multi-resolution digital/electronic maps are studied as follows: ①In general on the electronic map display method on the basis of a multi-resolution digital map display technology, is hierarchical classification and display technologies, and multi-resolution digital map of the symbol design. Multi-resolution electronic map symbols designed primarily through pictorial symbols, size and color of uniform design will be different resolution mapping of regional integration, while at the same time meet the multi-resolution electronic map display requirements. ②Multi-resolution digital map of the preparation method has been discussed in detail and verification. In the analysis of the mapping information is presented based on the preparation of multi-resolution digital map of the main issues focus on resolving the idea of the preparation of multi-resolution electronic map processes and methods. ③Multi-resolution digital map of the method of preparing a detailed explanation. In the resolution of different electronic maps to the stitching, will be encountered across two different entities linear mapping of the region splicing problem. In this paper, the fourth part of the region straddles two different mapping the linear entities (rail, roads, internal roads, rural roads, cul-de-sac, pipeline survey, ditch, reservoirs, single features) described in detail about stitching issues .
