面对视频业务跨RNC(Radio Network Controller,无线网络控制器)切换速度慢的问题,中国移动将RNC间同步作为TD-MBMS(Multimedia Broadcast Multiple Service,多媒体广播和多播服务)特性中一项很重要的需求,用于提高TD-MBMS网络质量。 本文简要介绍了TD-SCDMA国内外发展现状、通用移动通信系统的构成、高层信令子系统以及其中IUC(Iu-interface Controller,Iu接口控制)模块的组成结构和功能。在理解3GPP协议及关键技术的基础上,分析了MBMS同步的原理及数据同步、时间同步、承载建立和释放、资源一致性和同步架构、接口原理等关键技术。重点设计了MBMS同步在HSPS_IUC模块上的消息流程,其中SRNC实现的消息流程有:MBMS业务建立和同步承载建立,MBMS业务终止。DRNC实现的消息流程有:MBMS业务建立成功(组播成功和组播失败单播成功),MBC响应失败,拆除IU SCCP链接,MBMS业务终止。针对消息流程采用C语言实现了MBMS同步在HSPS_IUC模块的功能。最后根据中国移动的测试规范设计了测试用例,用IBM Rational Test RealTime测试工具和白盒测试方法进行了单元测试,测试用例覆盖了MBMS同步的全部代码,修改了测试中出现的BUG。 测试结果表明,所设计的消息流程已经全部实现,测试码流已经通过验证,并且通过了中国移动的软件模拟验收。

Facing to a situation that the video traffic switch slowly among RNCs, China Mobile considers synchronization among RNCs as an important requirement to TD-MBMS property, to improve network quality of TD-MBMS. The paper introduces the development of TD-SCDMA system at home and abroad, the composition of UMTS system, configuration and function of HSPS and HSPS_IUC module. Based on 3GPP protocols, an analysis of the key technologies and principle in MBMS synchronization is presented. Such as synchronization of data, time, bearer setup and release, resource consistency, and frame of synchronization, interface principle. Focused on the flows of MBMS synchronization designed on HSPS_IUC. MBMS session setup, synchronous bearer setup, MBMS session stop are included in SRNC process. MBMS session setup(Muticast bearer setup success. Under failure condition of the setup muticast bearer,singcast bearer setup success), MBC response fail, Iu Sccp release,MBMS session stop are included in DRNC process. As to the process, the fuction of TD_MBMS on HSPS_IUC based on C is achieved. Unit test cases are designed according to test specification of China Mobile. Cases test is done with IBM Rational Test RealTime and white box testing methodology. All the codes of MBMS Synchronization are covered in the test cases. All bugs are modified. Test results show that all message flows have already completed,code flows have validated and all passed by software simulation of China Mobile.
