培育当代大学生人文精神，首先要搞清楚人文精神及当代大学生人文精神的内涵。培育当代大学生人文精神是大学生全面发展、现代教育发展和社会可持续发展的需要。当前大学生人文精神从总体上看是比较好的，但是他们中少数人的人文精神存在缺失，主要表现在:知识体系构成的实用化倾向、价值观念的功利和自我倾向、心理素质存在缺陷。造成大学生人文精神缺失的原因是多方面的:对科技和人文理解上的误区、应试教育的弊端、人文教育内容的不合理和方法的单一及市场经济的负面效应。在对当代大学生人文精神缺失的原因分析的基础上提出了提高当代大学生人文精神的举措:一要确立现代教育思想观念；二要建立科学与人文精神相统一的教育机制；三要加强当代大学生的价值观教育；四要营造具有浓郁人文氛围的校园文化环境。

In order to rear the university students' humane spirit, we must make sure the intension of humane spirit and university students' humane spirit. It's the necessary of university students' all-round way development，modern education development and social continue development to rear university student's humane spirit. In general university students' humane spirit are still high at present. But they can't be ignored that there are existing some problems in development of some students in humane spirit, such as the unbalance in the structure of cultural knowledge, the deviation of the value orientation, defects in psychological quality and so on. There are various reasons causing these problems existing in university students' humane spirit. The misunderstanding of technology and humanism, the malpractice of examination education, the unreasonable content and simplistic methods of humane education and the uneffectiveness of market-oriented economy. On the basis, I have put forward the countermeasures of improving university students' humane spirit. Firstly, the modem education concept should be established; Secondly, reforming teaching practice to promote the unite of technology and humanism; Thirdly, strengthen the core of humane education, that is the value education for the university students; Fourthly, the cultural environment of the campus should be optimized.
