随着Lan、Intranet、Internet在全世界的迅猛发展,IP网络的性能逐步改善,基于IP网络的多媒体通信已经成为未来通信系统重要的研究和发展方向。语音编码作为多媒体通信的一个重要环节正受到人们的广泛关注。G.723.1建议是国际电信联盟(ITU)最新颁布的一种适用于多媒体通信的低比特率语音编码器标准。它是基于IP网络的多媒体会议系统标准H.323的首推语音编码标准。本文在分析G.723.1建议的系统模型及编解码算法后,提出了基于TMS320C5402进行语音数据编译码的方案。并讨论了该方案中的一些关键技术。最后,对该方案的改进作了进一步的探讨。实验证明该系统特别适用于IP电话机、IP电话网关、视频会议等多媒体通信中。

With the development of Lan, Intranet, Internet and the improvement of IP network performance, the multimedia communication based on IP network has become an important research and developing branch of future communication system. As a basis of multimedia, speech coding becomes the focus of discussion. Newly issued by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), G.723.1 is a standard of low bit-rate speech coder, which is applicable to multimedia communications. G.723.1 is an optimum speech coding arithmetic of standard H.323, which is multimedia-meeting system standard, based on IP network. The system model, algorithms of coding and decoding of G.723.1 are analysed respectively in this paper. An implementation method based on TMS320- C5402 is also presented. Besides that, the key technology of this solution is discussed in details. At last, some innovative improvements are discussed. The experiment proves this system is fit for IP telephone, IP netgate and multimedia-meeting system.
