随着我国步入信息社会,企业对人才的创新能力、实践能力有了更高的要求。然而,作为培养具有创新能力和实践能力的人才基地,高校实验室教学面临着诸多的限制因素,严重影响了实验教学质量和科研水平的提高。因此,实验教学方式的变革势在必行。以信息技术为依托的新的实验教学方式——虚拟实验室的出现,为目前实验教学中实验设备和实验场所的不足以及不能满足学生实验个性化需求等问题的解决提供了更好的方式。因此,构建虚拟实验室对于改善现有实验教学状况有很重要的意义。 通过对常用三维建模工具和常用虚拟现实平台的讨论、分析,Maya、Lightwave3D更适合影视动画方面的建模,3ds Max适合于室内设计和游戏,相对于Virtual Reality Platform和VRML,Virtools开发难度低,更容易为非计算机专业人员使用。因此,本课题利用3ds Max建模工具实现虚拟实验室的三维建模,利用Virtools虚拟现实平台实现三维模型的交互设计。最后,在windows环境下搭建虚拟实验室平台,提供了虚拟实验室系统中的实验操作模块。 实验操作模块主要提供了视角切换、实验说明、自动演示、手动实验四大功能模块。视角切换模块提供四个观察视角,可以从顶视图、右视图、前视图、透视图四个角度观察实验场景、实验仪器和实验过程。通过实验说明模块用户可以方便地查看实验原理、实验步骤等。通过自动演示模块和手动实验模块,用户既可以观看整个实验过程又可以亲自动手实践。利用二氧化碳制取实验的实验操作模块验证了论文提出的利用三维建模技术和虚拟现实技术构建虚拟实验室的方法的可行性。

With our country entering the information society, enterprises have higher requirements for the talents of innovation ability and practice ability. Colleges and Universities are the base of cultivating talents with innovative ability and practice ability. Since their laboratory teaching has many restrictive factors, the improvement of the quality of experimental teaching and the level of scientific research are seriously impacted. Therefore, transforming experimental teaching way is to be imperative. As a new experimental teaching mode, Virtual Laboratory which based on Information Technology provides a better way to solve the lack of experimental equipment and places and meet the personalized needs of students in the experiment. Therefore, the construction of virtual laboratory is very important for improving the existing experiment condition. The paper discusses and analyzes the commonly used 3D modeling tools and virtual reality platform. Maya and Lightwave3D are more suitable for establishment of the film and television animation model, 3ds Max is suitable for indoor design and game. Compared with the Virtual Reality Platform and VRML, the developing difficulty of Virtools is lower and Virtools is easier for non computer professionals. Therefore the paper uses 3ds Max modeling tool to realize 3D modeling virtual laboratory and uses Virtools to realize the interaction design of 3D models. Finally, the virtual laboratory platform is constructed in Windows environment and provides experiment operating module of virtual laboratory system. The experiment operating module provides four functional modules of the angle switching, the experiment introduction, the automatic demonstration and manual experiment. The angle switching module provides multiple perspectives, including top view, right view, front view and perspective four angles, to observe experiment scene, experimental instruments and experimental process. Using the experiment introduction module users can easily view the experimental principle, experimental procedures and so on. Using the automatic demonstration module and manual experiment module users not only can watch the whole experiment process can also hands-on practice. Using the experimental operation module of carbon dioxide experiments validate the feasibility of the method of using three-dimensional modeling technology and virtual reality technology to build a virtual laboratory that proposed in this paper.
