聚氯乙烯(PVC)工业化发展快、规模大,用途广,与人们的日常生活息息相关。然而,PVC热稳定性和加工性能差,需要添加各种助剂来改善PVC的性能。增塑剂是世界产量和消费量最大的PVC加工助剂,对改善PVC的性能起着极其重要的作用。
当前使用最多的增塑剂是邻苯二甲酸酯类,其中邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)被普遍使用,但是,有证据表明DOP具有毒性和致癌因素。聚己二酸乙二醇酯(PEA)与DOP相比较,其挥发性低、迁移性小、耐高温,不容易被水和溶剂抽出、毒性低,是永久性环保增塑剂,用于取代DOP具有现实意义。
以己二酸和乙二醇为原料,钛酸丁酯为催化剂,缩聚成聚己二酸乙二醇酯(PEA),采用凝胶渗透色谱法(GPC)测其分子量;使用B型管测其沸点;熔点显微仪测得熔点;按照国标测其酸值、羟值,计算得到聚合物的数均分子量;采用粘度法测其粘度;最后PEA/PVC按照一定的配方塑炼、压片,测定其力学性能。进一步研究了PEA的分子量与PVC增塑性能的关系,设计出增塑效果最佳的PEA分子量的合成条件。
理论设计控制聚合物分子量条件是:真空度86.3 kPa,聚合物数均分子量1000,真空度99.7 kPa,聚合物数均分子量3000。
研究结果表明,微波合成PEA的最佳反应条件是己二酸与乙二醇的物质的量比11.2,反应时间20~29 min,反应温度210 ℃,真空度95 kPa,得到产品的数均分子量从925~3860。合成聚酯增塑剂PEA综合增塑PVC性能优于DOP,按标准评价,在用量10 g时,已达到增塑要求,断裂伸长率达到186.45%。且随用量增加,断裂伸长率、拉伸强度同步增大。合成聚酯增塑剂PEA与PVC的相容性、耐抽出性、抗迁移性均优于传统的DOP。

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) industrialization was rapidly developed, scale, wide use, which is connected with our daily life. However, the heat performance and processing stability of PVC were lower, so it is need to add a variety of additives to improve the performance of PVC. The production and consumption of the plasticizer for PVC processing aids is the biggest in the world, which plays a very important role to improve the performance of PVC.
The most used polyester plasticizer is adjacent benzene two formic acid ester, where in the adjacent benzene two formic acid two ester (DOP) are generally used. However, some evidence indicates that the DOP have toxic and carcinogenic factors. The poly (ethylene adipate) (PEA) is permanent environmental plasticizers, which have lower volatility and mobility, high temperature resistance, and not easy to be water and solvent extraction, low toxicity. It has realistic significance to replace DOP.
The poly (ethylene adipate) (PEA) were successfully synthesized by means of polyesterification reaction. The adipic acid and glycol was chosen as the starting materials. The gel permeation chromatography (GPC) was adopted to measure the molecular weight of the products. The boiling point and melting point were measured by the type B pipe. According to the GB testing standards for the acid value and hydroxyl value, the viscosity was investigated by the viscosity approach. The transference and mechanical properties were also measured. Finally, the relationship between the molecular weight of PEA and PVC growth performance was studied and the best effect of the molecular weight of PEA were designed subsequently.
Theoretical design of controlling polymer molecular weight conditions are: Vacuum 86.3 kPa, polymer average molecular weight 1000, vacuum of 99.7 kPa, polymer average molecular weight 3000.
The research results show that microwave synthesis of PEA and the optimum reaction condition is adipic acid and ethylene glycol molar ratio1:1.2, reaction time 20~29min, reaction temperature 210 ℃, vacuum of 95 kPa, and get the number average molecular weight from 925~3860.
Synthesis of polyester plasticizer PEA plasticized PVC is superior to DOP. According to the criteria of evaluation, it has reached the plasticized requirements in the amount of 10 g, the elongation at break of 186.45%. And with increasing, the elongation, the tensile strength increased synchronously. Synthesis of polyester plasticizer PEA and PVC compatibility, high extraction, the transfer resistance is superior to the traditional DOP.
