As the leading core of various undertakings of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Communist Party of China (CPC) regards grassroots Party organizations at all levels as the nerve endings of the Party in urban society, the fortress for the Party to carry out work, serve the people, and consolidate its power at the grassroots level. The development of urban grassroots Party building work has been constantly explored with the advancement of urbanization in China. Urban grassroots Party building is not only the cornerstone and guarantee of urban community governance, but also the "leader", "promoter" and "practitioner" of urban community governance work, and the maintainer of good order in urban communities. In urban work, grassroots Party building work and urban community governance complement each other, integrate with each other, and promote each other.
Based on the Party building ideology in Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, this article elaborates on the relevant concepts of grassroots Party building leading urban community governance.
