在机载电子综合显示系统中,图形显示占据着越来越重要的地位。由于飞行状态复杂,要求座舱内画面显示动态、实时、平滑和清晰。显示画面的性能与字符图形发生器的硬件结构和图形生成算法有关。由于机载液晶显示器在显示旋转的字符、刻度线时因受光栅屏幕分辨率的限制而存在锯齿状的走样现象,若不加以处理将难以辨认,易引起飞行员误操作带来飞行事故。根据国内外座舱显示技术,DSP技术以及图形反走样算法的发展与现状,本文提出基于通用处理器TMS320DM642的字符图形发生器方案,应用图形反走样生成算法设计出满足座舱显示系统要求的图形画面。
在理论分析和算法设计方面,本文首先从频域角度分析光栅显示设备在显示图形和图像时产生走样的原因,通过对反走样方法进行研究和比较,依据直线的对称生成原理和Bresenham直线生成算法,提出了双步直线反走样算法。然后根据座舱显示系统典型画面全罗盘画面的特点,应用提出的双步直线反走样算法,设计出绘图所需的其它基本算法,如圆弧、矢量字符以及点阵字符等反走样算法。同时基于VC++平台设计了反走样图形算法仿真程序来验证反走样算法的可行性和有效性。
在系统软硬件设计方面,首先选择ICETEK-DM642-PCI EVM板作为字符图形发生器的仿真系统,完成反走样算法在DSP硬件平台上的仿真测试和算法移植。参考EVM板的硬件结构特点,设计了基于单片TMS320DM642芯片的字符图形发生器。采用DSP/BIOS作为字符图形发生器的操作系统,利用C语言和汇编语言编写了静态全罗盘画面子程序、串行通讯子程序、YCbCr转RGB颜色空间子程序以及实时视频图像插值放大子程序。
实验表明,字符图形发生器系统实现了图形发生器的主要功能,通过应用双步直线反走样算法生成的罗盘刻度线在旋转过程中反走样效果良好,全罗盘画面动态显示且平滑清晰;当有外部视频输入时,系统可实时地完成视频图像与全罗盘画面的叠加功能。

The graphics display plays more and more important role in the Electronic Flight Instrument System. The complex situation of flight requests that the graphics display of cockpit must be dynamic, real-time and legible. Both the hardware of character & graphics generator and the graphics creating arithmetic affect the quality of graphics display largely. But in airborne liquid crystal display, scale lines and character have obvious jaggies and will be distorted seriously owe to the limited screen resolution in the case of deflection. It is difficult to identify, easy to make a wrong operation and bring about a flight accident for the pilot if not taking any measures. After elaborating the development of cockpit graphics display home and abroad, digital signal processing and the graphics algorithms with anti-aliasing, the thesis puts forward more effective graphics creating arithmetic by using TMS320DM642 as the main processor of character & graphics generator for high display quality.
This thesis analyzes the causes of aliasing in the view of frequency field, and explains how anti-aliasing technique is usually actualized, and some methods are presented. According to the bilateral symmetry of the straight line, a double-step algorithm of straight line with anti-aliasing is presented based on the principle of Bresenham and Wu anti-aliasing algorithms. After introducing the display of compass which is one of the most important pictures in the modern cockpit display system, the thesis introduces the anti-aliasing process of dot matrix character and extends new algorithm of straight line with anti-aliasing to circularity, vector font character, and so on. In order to testify the effect of these anti-aliasing algorithms, an anti-aliasing software demo in VC++ is designed.
Choosing the ICETEK-DM642-PCI EVM board as the emulation system of character & graphics generator, the whole algorithm is simulated and optimized on DSP EVM board and CCS environment, which contribute to a seamless software transplant and hardware structure design. The thesis adopts one TMS320DM642 chip as graphics controller of character & graphics generator, uses DSP/BIOS as the operating system, and programs the static compass subroutine, serial port communication subroutine, the color space transform subroutine from YCbCr to RGB and the real-time video image scaling subroutine in C language and assembly language.
After having a performance examination, the pictures which character & graphics generator produce prove that the static compass display smoothly and legibly, the scale lines in compass have a good effect of anti-aliasing when rotating, and the dynamic compass can overlay with outer input video.
