在新时代，加强高校思想政治教育工作是党和国家的一项重点工作，随着高校思想政治教育的不断扩大和深化，高校思想政治工作遇到新的挑战、新的情况和新的问题不断出现。因此高校大学生接受思想政治教育，一方面，是党和国家对高校思想政治教育工作的现实要求，另一方面也是提高高校思想政治教育工作实效性的必然要求。进行思想政治教育接受行为的研究，对思想政治教育的理论建设和实践创新都有着非常重要的指导意义。
  为了在新时代的新历史定位中彰显重要效果，推动大学生接受思想政治教育，并内化于心、外化于行，一定要抓住学生这个关键，增强对学生的吸引力、感染力和凝聚力，从而更好地为党和国家培育时代新人。所以，大学生思想政治教育接受行为研究，是建立完善对思想政治教育理论构建和实践创新的必然选择，也是提升思想政治教育实效性的应有举措。
  本研究具体运用了文献研究法、系统分析法、调查研究法、学科交叉研究等研究方法，以大学生思想政治教育接受行为为主题，阐明思想政治教育接受、思想政治教育接受行为的基本概念，以班杜拉三元交互理论为理论基础，借鉴马克思的主体性理论、传播学的“有限效果”的受众理论以及行为心理学等相关理论。在此基础上，通过小范围的深度访谈和问卷调查的方式，对影响大学生思想政治教育接受行为因素进行归纳，构建大学生思想政治教育接受行为的最初假设模型，运用数据分析工具，对所采集到的资料进行统计学处理，检验研究假说的正确性，并在此基础上构建出高校思想政治教育接受行为的最终理论模型。最后，对该模型进行分析，以进一步探寻当前高校大学生思想政治教育接受行为的现实问题，并探讨高校大学生思想政治教育接受行为提升的实践举措。
  本研究基于完整的过程逻辑分析，确证：大学生思想政治教育接受行为研究需要从个体需求侧、高校供给侧和社会环境侧三部分着力搭建基本框架。在厘清大学生思想政治教育接受行为存在问题的根源后，新时代需要思想政治教育由个体到学校，由学校再到社会，以一种系统化的方式来提升思想政治教育的实践应用价值：一是要通过尊重大学生成长成才需要、重构大学生主体认知、培养大学生情感认同、锻炼大学生接受意志，去提升大学生主体内在主观能动性；二是要通过激发高校思想政治教育课堂活力、加强高校思想政治队伍专业化建设、提高思想政治工作实效性，提升高校供给体系；三要通过创造公平公正的社会经济环境、建设廉洁高效的社会政治环境、营造风清气正的社会文化环境，为大学生接受行为奠定物质基础，提供制度保障和精神动力。
