现代化是近代以来人类社会发展的趋势，也是中华民族近百年来的不懈追求。建设现代化，实现民富国强是近代中国的历史使命，一百多年来几代中国人为探索适合中国国情的现代化道路经历了无数曲折，付出了沉重代价。改革开放以来，中国自主探索，取得了过去一个多世纪都未实现的成就，谱写了中国现代化的伟大篇章，其发展道路被称为中国模式。中国模式的实质是在全球化背景下形成的后发展国家既主动融入现代化进程，又能在其中保持独立自主性的发展模式。在现代化语境下，加强对中国模式的研究，探讨其主要内涵，分析当代中国发展的成功经验及存在的问题和不足，对于现代化模式的丰富，具有重要的理论意义和实践意义。 　　本文除绪论外主要包括三大部分：第一部分在对现代化进行历史回顾以及文献综述的基础上，探究现代化概念的渊源及本质特征，概述现代化进程中的几种主要模式，并将中国模式与之比较。第二部分主要阐析中国模式在政治、经济、社会、思想文化等层面的主要特征，探讨中国模式对世界现代化进程的意义。第三部分是在现代化语境下对中国模式展开分析，指出其在发展中所面临的问题和挑战，并对中国模式的完善途径提出可行性建议。 对于中国模式的理论研究较为丰富和全面，而将其与现实问题，与现代化发展实践相结合进行分析研究的内容比较少，本文研究的重点在于将中国模式置于现代化语境范畴内，针对我国当前发展存在的主要问题，以现代化理论为指导，进一步改进中国模式中不适应现代化发展的因素，推动中国特色社会主义的伟大实践向前迈进。

Modernization is not only the development trend of human society since modern times, but also the unremitting pursuit of Chinese nation for many years. Modernization, as well as realization of “the people are rich and the country is strong” is the Chinese modern historic mission. Generations of Chinese people have experienced countless difficulties and paid a heavy price in order to explore a road of modernization suitable for china’s national conditions for more than one hundred years. Since the reform and opening up, China has made exploration on its own, and gained achievements which have not been realized over the past century, writing a great chapter of China's modernization, with its path of development known as the China model. The essence of the China model lies in that the post-developing countries not only actively get involved in the progress of modernization in the context of globalization, but also keep their independence.In the context of modernization, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen the research on China model, studying its main contents, analyzing successes, problems and shortcomings of the development of contemporary China so as to enrich the modern model. 　　　This paper mainly includes three parts besides introduction: The first part mainly makes an exploration of the origin and defining characteristics of modernization, summarizes several modes in the process of modernization and compares them with China model on the basis of literature review on modernization. The second part mainly expatiates on the principal features of China model in the political, economic, social, ideological and cultural aspects to explore the contribution of the China model to the process of worldwide modernization. The third part is to analyze the China model in the context of modernization, pointing out problems and challenges during the process of its development and proposing feasible suggestions to perfect the China model. 　　　There are comparatively more abundant and comprehensive theoretical studies on the China model, but less studies have been conducted when it is combined with the real problems and development practice. The paper will focus on the study of China model in the context of modernization, and employ modernization theory as a guidance to solve main problems of development, further adapting the China model to the development of modernization and pushing forward the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
