为增强研究的针对性和实效性，本文以西安外事学院为重点，同时走访西安欧亚学院、西京职业学院、西安翻译学院，展开了有关民办高校大学生思想政治素质的调查研究。调查发现, 由于受学生自身素质、国际形势、国内环境以及校内条件等多种因素的影响，民办高校大学生的思想政治素质，其主流是好的，但也存在一些问题，主要表现为：一是轻思想修养，重智育发展；二是轻集体荣誉，重个人好恶；三是轻理想信念，重现实利益；四是轻为人奉献，重回报索取；五是轻艰苦奋斗，重安逸享乐。此外，学生压力也普遍加大，有学习的压力、就业的压力、社会竞争的压力、父母期望的压力、人际关系的压力等等。由此导致大学生的心理问题也不断增多。为此，本文提出了一些新时期加强民办高校大学生思想政治教育的对策和建议：新时期加强民办高校大学生的素质教育，应从增强思想政治教育的针对性、实效性和吸引力、感染力出发，贴近大学生的心理、思想、学习和生活以及社会、校园实际，一是要坚持教书、管理、服务与育人相结合，充分发挥学校所有教育工作者在思想政治教育中的作用；二是要坚持教育与自我教育相结合，加强马克思主义理论和时事政策的宣传教育，夯实思想政治教育的理论根基；三是要坚持理论教育与实践教育相结合，以健康、充实的校园生活为基础开展思想政治教育；四是要坚持解决思想问题与解决实际问题相结合，以开展心理健康教育和大学生学业、职业生涯规划等活动来增强思想政治教育的效果；五是要坚持教育与管理相结合，把思想政治教育与学生日常管理结合，把思想政治教育落实到日常的学生教育和管理工作中去；六是要坚持继承优良传统与改进创新相结合，充分利用电脑网络等现代教育技术开拓思想政治教育的新方法、新途径。开展民办高校大学生思想政治教育的研究，具有十分重要的战略意义、现实意义和理论意义。

To launched research on the ideological and political quality of private college students that focus on Xi’an International University, also visited Xianouya College, Xijing Vocational College, Xi'an Translation College. It is enhanced relevance and effectiveness of the research. On the investigation ,there are still some problems of private college students’ ideological and political quality, Although the mainstream is good. as follows: The first, Light ideological cultivation, attention intellect development. The second, light collective honor, attention personal likes and dislikes. The third, light ideals and beliefs, attention real interests. The fourth light human sacrifice, attention the return. The fifth, light hard work, attention easy pleasures. In addition, students’ pressure have also increased, learning pressure, employment pressure, social pressure of competition, pressure of parents’ expect, pressure of human relationships and so on. This led to the psychological problems of college students also continued to increase. Therefore, we set up some countermeasures and suggestions that strengthening ideological and political education of private college students in this paper. For strengthening the quality of private college students’ education, enhance ideological and political education from more effective and attractive, appealing departure. Close students’ psychology, thinking, learning , life ,society and the actual campus. First, we must persist the combine in teaching, management, service and education, give full play to all school educators in the ideological and political education . Second, To uphold the combination of education and self-education, Strengthen the theory of Marxism, events and policies of the publicity and education, Strengthen the theoretical foundation of ideological and political education. Third, to uphold the combining of theory education and practice. Carrying out ideological and political education based on health and enrich the campus life. Fourth, to uphold the combining of ideological problems and practical problems. Enhance the effectiveness of the ideological and political education by conduct mental health education and school students career planning. Fifth, we must adhere to the combination of education and management, put the ideological and political education into regular students education and management work. Sixth, Adhere to the combination of inherit the fine traditions and innovation. to improve the integration of new methods and new ways by full use of computer networks and other modern educational technology. Explore the research of ideological and political education of Private College Students is of great strategic significance, practical and theoretical significance.
