Abstract To cultivate morality and cultivate people is the important mission of education in the new era, the fundamental task of education in our country, and the foundation of colleges and universities. As an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics, labor education directly determines the orientation of labor values, the level of labor skills and the outlook of labor spirit of socialist builders and successors, and its importance to individuals and the country is self-evident. The 18th National Congress of the Party clearly established moral cultivation as the fundamental task of education, rising to the height of the educational policy, and the 20th National Congress of the Party clearly pointed out that it is necessary to "implement the fundamental task of moral cultivation and human development, and train socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, the United States and labor." It can be seen that the Party and the government have further deepened their understanding of the laws of education, and their determination and confidence in educating socialist builders and successors. College students, as an important part of the socialist builders and successors, acquire solid labor literacy, which is of great significance to the implementation of the fundamental task of moral cultivation. In order to effectively improve the current situation of college students' labor education and enhance the effectiveness of labor education, this paper tries to comprehensively sort out the current situation of college students' labor education through empirical investigation and analysis under the overall framework of moral cultivation and human development, and puts forward a more targeted system optimization path. This paper mainly includes three parts, the first part, theoretical interpretation. Firstly, the research background of this paper is introduced, and the research status at home and abroad is reviewed. Secondly, based on the thoughts of Marxist classic writers on labor education, the thoughts of labor education in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and the thoughts of labor education in the leading collective of the Communist Party of China, the concepts related to moral education and labor and their mutual relations are clearly defined, the scope of research is defined, and the theoretical foundation is laid. The second part, the goal guide, aims to answer the question "What kind of person to cultivate". On the one hand, the paper analyzes the necessity of college students' labor education from the perspective of individual, state and society, which lays a solid foundation for the research. On the other hand, it focuses on sorting out the goals of college students' labor education from the perspective of moral cultivation, and provides direction for the following article. The third part, which is the focus of the whole paper, aims to answer "how to train people". By means of questionnaire survey, this paper summarizes the main achievements of college students' labor education at present, and deeply analyzes the objective problems existing in the form and essence, curriculum, resources and management of college students' labor education. Through anchoring Lide and cultivating talents, making clear positioning, optimizing curriculum setting, developing educational resources and perfecting management mechanism, the author explores the ways of "full education" and "all-round education" of college students' labor education from the perspective of Lide and cultivating talents. With a strong pertinence and effectiveness, the country needs to train high-quality talents with both virtue and ability.
